O.S. MAX ENGINE B2104 with silencer

The OSSPEED off-road racing engine has undergone further evolution. The fourth generation, the B21 series (B2104) features improved response at low speeds as a result of securing the power needed to gain an advantage in difficult off-road conditions. It provides smooth and dynamic performance at medium and low speeds. Features faster response in the lower range and more torque in the mid-range at constant idle.

New piston/bushing combination
The new piston/bushing is a conventional 3-port type, providing more torque throughout the power range.

New crankshaft with DLC coating
The new crankshaft has a DLC coating, as always with OS SPEED engines. Two tungsten counterweights are embedded in the crankshaft, providing consistent idle and quick downshifts depending on throttle movement.

New housing cover: pressure plate
with a surface treatment embedded in the cover reduces friction on the connecting rod, extending its life.

Optimized flow
The charge port and crankcase exhaust port have been redesigned for optimal airflow.

Proven carburetor
The carburetor is the reliable Type 22E that we use on the B2103 Type R.

Cooling head
The cooling head is a conventional type of round head with a standard height.
