LAUNCH PANEL (212-2) Q-MODEL

The Q-Model 212-2 launch panel designed for installation in launch boxes is one of the best-equipped launch panels on the market.

It contains everything a modeler may need for efficient and convenient starting of internal combustion engines.

What distinguishes the 212-2 panel from competing devices is, first of all, the installed fuel pump operating in two directions (pumping / suction), the installed charger for NiCD/NiMH batteries from hand clips, the indicator of the current applied to the plug, and the socket designed for charging the gel battery (which powers the panel and other starter box devices).

Installed outputs:

• 2x Banana 4mm under electric starter installation
• 2x PIN under the installation of a candle filament
• two terminals for connecting silicone fuel lines to the pump
• charger output for NiCD/NiMH cells in the shape of a glow plug
• jACK-type output for direct charging of the 12V gel battery installed in the starter box (NOTE ! charging Pb battery requires an external charger, not included in the kit)

Accessories included in the kit:

• a pair of 4mm banana connectors for connecting the starter box
• a pair of PIN connectors for connecting the spark plug filament
• jACK DC connector compatible with the socket for charging the gel battery
• 4 installation screws for screwing the panel to the starter box
• a pair of crocodile-type terminals for convenient connection of the panel with a gel battery

The panel is powered by 12V direct current (preferably a 12V Pb gel battery)

Extremely useful in working with the panel is also installed in the upper right universal current indicator. It indicates both the current applied to the candle (when the candle is glowing) and the level of charge of the 12V gel battery (when the corresponding "CHK" switch on the panel is pressed).

The standard dimensions of 152 x 91 mm of the panel will ensure trouble-free installation in virtually any model box on the market (4 mounting screws included in the package). The manufacturer has also included a very useful lightweight ABS extrusion to protect the underside of the panel from possible mechanical damage or splashing.

Operating instructions:

1. Connect the 12V battery to the panel using the "outgoing" wires
2. Connect the 12V starter to the socket in the "STARTER" box.
3. In the field "PLUG" connect the glow plug power supply
4. CAUTION ! Do not confuse the poles ! (risks damaging the panel) black socket (-) red socket (+).
