New - Low Center of Gravity (Low-CG).
The Slash 4X4 Ultimate has a completely new design designed to achieve a very low center of gravity (Low-CG). The drive packages and electronics are kept as low as possible in the housing. To obtain the necessary rigidity, the undercarriage is reinforced with integrated ribs, creating a geodesic structure. The bottom of the chassis is flat to reduce drag and prevent possible collisions with obstacles on the track. The low center of gravity (Low-CG) greatly increases the car's speed and cornering stability.

Slash Platinum Edition 4x4 is a version of the model without:

• apparatus
• drive package
• package charger.

Steering system.

New GTR shock absorbers.
Proven in extremely rough terrain on the Revo and Summit cars, GTR shock absorbers represent the pinnacle of suspension technology and now set the standard for suspension quality and control. The length of the shock absorbers has been adjusted to the Slash 4X4 Ultimate for maximum suspension travel. The shocks have 13mm holes to store 76% more oil than the Ultra shocks on the previous Slash. The PTFE coating reduces the friction coefficient as much as possible, increases the abrasion resistance and increases the strength. Housing made of hard - anodized aluminum, pistons coated with titanium nitride and Teflon, ensure high durability, minimum friction, and thus - smooth vibration damping and long-term reliability.

Slash 4X4 Platinum Edition equipped with an innovative slip clutch Revo-spec Torque-Control ™ ". The patented design allows for a smooth, precise and consistent traction control system.
