Proper operation and long life of the engine, will ensure the observance of several rules of handling and storage of the engine.

1. It is necessary to unconditionally protect the engine from dust and sand.Hard and solid particles, are the biggest enemy of engines, unprotected by an air filter.
2. Protection from dust and dust also applies to fuel. Always use a filter when refueling and make sure not to leave the fuel container open.
3. If landing in a contaminated area, thoroughly rinse the carburetor and propeller hub area with methanol or fuel. If dirt gets inside the engine, rinse the interior as well.
4. Do not spin the shaft of a dusty engine. In this case, the engine should be disassembled.
   
5. After the season, do not leave the engine with residual fuel. Such fuel in the long term, can cause corrosion of engine components. If the engine is not used for more than a month, unscrew the spark plug and flush the engine with kerosene or a special After Run agent.
6. Do not unnecessarily disassemble the engine or spin the shaft.
