Proper operation and long life of the engine, will ensure the observance of several rules of handling and storage of the engine.
- It is necessary to unconditionally protect the engine from dust and sand.Hard and solid particles, are the biggest enemy of engines, unprotected by an air filter.
- Protection from dust and dust also applies to fuel. Always use a filter when refueling and make sure not to leave the fuel container open.
- If landing in a contaminated area, thoroughly rinse the carburetor and propeller hub area with methanol or fuel. If dirt gets inside the engine, rinse the interior as well.
