OS two-stroke enginesMAXAX is the latest series of high-performance power units intended mainly for sports and aerobatic models of airplanes. A well-developed structure using a unique ABL (Advanced Bimetallic Liner) insert with a two-layer coating of working surfaces made of specially developed alloys minimizing friction and wear during operation guarantees high efficiency and long life. The futuristic-shaped hexagonal cylinder head with large cooling fins provides excellent cooling and allows for higher performance with the same installation dimensions as the classic FX series. This allows you to take advantage of a huge range of kits and model plans designed in recent decades for the two-stroke OS systemMAXor provide a "boost" of power to an existing "ef-ix" model!

MAXThe 65AX is a high-performance two-stroke engine with a glow plug with a crankshaft mounted on a pair of ball bearings, designed for sports and performance aerobatic models of all kinds. It features a 61D type 2 needle carburetor with the main needle angled backwards for safer adjustment while the engine is running. The basic set also includes a very efficient E-4010 expansion silencer. The orientation of the exhaust port can be changed by rotating the rear muffler 360 °.

Proper operation and long durability of the engine will be ensured by following a few rules of engine handling and storage.

  1. It is absolutely necessary to protect the engine against dust and sand. Hard and solid particles are the worst enemy of engines without air filter protection.
  2. Protection against dust and dirt also applies to fuel. Always use a filter when refueling and make sure not to leave the fuel container open.
  3. When landing in a contaminated area, thoroughly rinse the carburetor and propeller hub area with methanol or fuel. If debris gets inside the engine, flush the inside of the engine as well.
  4. Do not spin the sanded motor shaft. In this case, the engine must be disassembled.
  5. Do not leave the engine with fuel residues after the season. Such fuel can cause corrosion of engine components over a long period of time. If the engine is not used for more than a month, unscrew the spark plug and rinse the engine with kerosene or a special After Run agent.
  6. Do not disassemble the motor or turn the shaft unnecessarily.
