KAVAN Internal combustion engine 2.49 ccm / S15II / 2T ABC (KAV28.1003)

KAVAN two-stroke engines are an excellent choice for any "Sunday" sports, aerobatic and reduction model aircraft. Reliable operation and very easy lapping and precise adjustment make them, in the best sense of the word, "consumer" engines that everyone can afford. With proper care and maintenance, they will reliably drive your models for many years.

KAVAN S15A is a two-stroke glow-plug engine of classic ABC design (aluminum piston - brass sleeve - chrome-plated), ideal for model aircraft of all kinds. It is equipped with a two-needle RC carburetor; a muffler is also included.

The crankshaft has an M5 propeller nut/bolt thread.

Recommended propeller:

• Lapping: 8×4"
• Sportster and aerobatics: 8×4", 8×5"
• Scale: 8×4"

Recommended fuel tank capacity: 60-120 ml.

Recommended fuel: "Straight" fuel (without nitro) with 20% castor oil or similar, with a mixture of castor oil and synthetic oil, or with synthetic oil and 1-15% nitromethane. We recommend using fuel with at least a small content of nitromethane - engine operation is then really reliable, and carburetor adjustment is easier and less sensitive to temperature changes and other environmental factors.
