HOBBYWING REG. OBROTÓW FLYFUN 30A - V5 mini (HW30202307)
Hobbywing speed controller for model airplanes.
A new generation of programmable microprocessor-based regulators for AC motors without sensors ("brushless, sensorless") for large recreational and sport aircraft models powered by Li-poly / Li-ion / Li-Fe batteries. Compared to previous generations of FLYFUN controllers, programming options have been expanded to include a number of features that have proven themselves in top-of-the-line Platinum series controllers. The controller's design takes into account the high load and durability required for large models. The controller is equipped with a powerful pulsed power stabilizer BEC with an optional output voltage to provide power to the receiver and servos (normal and HV) from the power supply battery. A special LED programming card from Hobbywing, which is available in our store (HOBBYWING GENERAL LED PROGRAM CARD - HW30501003), is used to easily and quickly program the controller.
CONTROLLER DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES
- The controller features a high-performance 32-bit ARM M4 microprocessor with a clock frequency of up to 72 MHz; it is compatible with most AC motors.
- Suitable for most aircraft with AC motors powered by 2-4S LiPo / Li-ion / LiFe batteries.
- Special power stabilizer for the microprocessor to provide high noise immunity and reduce the risk of loss of control.
- DEO (Driving Efficiency Optimization) optimized control technology greatly improves gas response and power stage control efficiency, reduces regulator temperature.
- Normal / Soft / Very Soft takeoff modes are suitable for normal propeller aircraft, as well as models with blowers.
- Easy programming and setting with Hobbywing LED transmitter or programming card.
- A special programming cable to connect the controller to the LED programming card allows the user to program the controller anytime and anywhere (see the Hobbywing LED programming card manual for details).
- Normal / proportional / reversing brake modes (especially reversing mode) can effectively shorten the range after landing.
- A number of protection functions: start-up protection, controller thermal protection, capacitor thermal protection, overload protection, over-current protection, incorrect supply voltage protection and control signal loss protection effectively extend the life of the controller.
- Gas range calibration for perfect match to the control signal from the RC kit.
PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTIONS
- Brake type: brake off, normal brake (with 7-step adjustment of braking intensity), proportional brake (throttle-controlled: 0-20% throttle pedal swing corresponds to 100-0% braking, 20-100% throttle swing corresponds to 0-100% throttle), reverse (allows you to enable reverse engine operation through another channel with a switch).
- Braking power: Braking intensity can be adjusted from level 1 to level 7 in "normal braking" mode.
- Motor shutdown method: Soft shutdown: the controller gradually reduces power to 50% of full power within 3 seconds of voltage protection activation. Hard shutdown: the motor shuts down immediately.
- Number of LiPo cells: we recommend setting 100% reliable voltage protection function manually. The controller automatically calculates the number of cells of the connected battery according to the "3.7 volts per cell" rule if automatic detection is selected.
- Voltage protection: the threshold level of voltage protection is adjustable in the range of 2.8-3.8 V / cell; the protection can also be completely disabled.
- BEC voltage: The BEC voltage of the power stabilizer can be adjusted to 5.2 V, 6.0 V or 7.4 V.
- Starting: Normal start (instant start), Soft start (slow start for motors with large propellers, gearboxes or smaller blowers), Very soft start (with very slow start for motors with large propellers, gearboxes or blowers 90 mm and above).
- Timing: adjustable from 0-30 °.
- Direction of rotation: clockwise / counterclockwise.
- DEO freewheel: this function can be enabled or disabled; may result in better linearity or smoother gas response.
REGULATOR PROTECTION FUNCTIONS
- Start-up protection: The regulator measures the engine speed during startup. If the speed stops increasing or its increase is not stable, the controller assesses this as an incorrect start. If the throttle is less than 15% at this point, the controller will automatically try to restart the engine; if the throttle is greater than 15%, pull all the way back to restart the engine.
- Controller thermal protection: The motor will "limp" if the temperature of the controller exceeds 110 ° C, which means that the thermal protection has tripped. If you pull the throttle lever below 60% at this point, the "stall" will disappear and the controller will deliver the power corresponding to the throttle position. If you move the throttle above 60%, the "stall" will reappear. The temperature of the controller during start-up must not exceed 70 ° C, otherwise it will not be possible to start the engine.
- Protection against loss of gas signal: The controller shuts down the motor immediately if the signal is missing for 0.25 seconds, to prevent even more damage and danger from a rapidly rotating rotor or propeller. Once a normal signal is received, the controller returns to normal operation.
- Overload protection: The controller shuts down the motor or restarts automatically when its load suddenly increases to a very high value.
- Overcurrent protection: the controller immediately shuts down the motor if the peak current consumption exceeds the maximum allowable value; it then resumes normal operation. If the current consumption still exceeds the maximum permissible value, the motor is completely switched off.
Note: When switching on the controller for the first time, first calibrate the gas range according to the instructions. Only then can you use the controller and set other parameters using the transmitter or LED programming card.
