FOXY RESitch (1RC21519)

RESitch is a switch / height limiter specially developed for the ERES motor sailplane category, which ensures that the engine is switched off as soon as the model reaches a preset altitude (80-200 m). However, it can also be used in other competition categories where the same take-off altitude is valid for all models; and can function as a normal telemetry altimeter / variometer. RESitch incorporates a highly sensitive altimeter / variometer that uses components made with the latest MEMS technology for high accuracy while maintaining miniature dimensions. The sensor is able to detect slight changes in the atmospheric pressure and thus indicate the rate of increase / decrease.

• RESitch is connected between the receiver (throttle channel) and the electronic speed controller. When connected to the telemetry port on the receiver, it can also function as a standard altimeter / variometer compatible with Futaba S.BUS2, Graupner HoTT, Multiplex MSB and JETI Duplex EX telemetry systems. In order to be able to use it in competitions where telemetry transmission is not allowed, RESitch can work in three modes:
  

• Full Telemetry - RESitch behaves like standard vario
• Limited Telemetry - Only shutdown altitude is wirelessly transmitted
  
• No telemetry - active during competition flights

Setting RESitch with JETIBOX:

After connecting to JETIBOX, you can view the current measured values (these parameters are also part of the extended menu for Graupner HoTT and JETI RC sets):

• relative height
• vario
  
• absolute atmospheric pressure
  
• temperature
  

Settings - other parameters:

• menu language (Czech, English, German, French, Italian)
• shutdown altitude - altitude from the RESitch start point at which the engine is shut off

After you set the shutdown height with the transmitter or JETIBOX, you turn off the model. After switching it on again and RESitch initialization approx. 3 seconds, you are ready to fly. As soon as the engine is started (by a signal in the throttle channel with a control pulse width greater than 1.2 ms), the timing begins and the engine is shut off if any of the following conditions are met:

• The pilot moves the throttle below the 1.2 ms signal threshold
• 30 seconds have elapsed since the engine was started
  
• The model exceeds the set cutout height
  
• The engine cannot be restarted during flight; a new flight "on the engine" can be performed only after landing, turning off and then restarting the reset. The altitude used during the last flight can be additionally checked after landing with JETIBOX connected, even if the RESitch power was turned off in the meantime.
