Our favorite GAMA 2100 and ALPHA 1500 got a brother! The new BRAVUS features a solid EPO foam construction, ingeniously reinforced carbon tube and carbon reinforcements, elegant shapes of a modern sailplane and a 2400 mm wingspan with "full mechanization" of the airfoil - with controlled flaps and ailerons. This makes the BRAVUS 2400 the perfect continuation of the model suitable for recreational thermally flying, even in milder slope ("sail") conditions - it is practically ready to fly! It is enough to put on the wing halves, screw the horizontal stabilizer to the tail with two screws, connect the receiver, propulsion battery, "program" - and you can fly!

Of course, the proven advantages of the range are retained: a wing with a large lift surface, controlled ailerons, flaps, rudder and elevator. A solid, yet very light structure made of EPO foam with carbon reinforcements guarantees excellent resistance to damage in the event of an accident or at least very easy repair in the event of damage. In fact, even the most ordinary six-channel RC set is enough to control it - of course, to take full advantage of the model's capabilities, it is good to use at least a seven-channel computer transmitter with mixers for a sailplane with 4 servos in the wing. The power supply is provided by a standard 3-cell Li-Po 2600-3000 mAh battery.

The BRAVUS 2400 is a strong motor glider made of highly durable extruded EPO polyolefin. Fuselage with mounted brushless motor (C2836-850 rpm per V), RAY G2 R-50SB regulator with a powerful BEC stabilizer ensuring safe power supply of 6 servos. The solid "backbone" of the hull consists of a carbon tube. The cab fairing is held in place with magnets. The speed controller can be easily programmed with the RAY G2 transmitter or programming card and can be powered by LiPo, LiFe and NiMH batteries. The 9x7 ”propeller is foldable, with a turbo hood (cooling air intake hole in the center). Cooling of the engine, regulator and battery is supported by additional cooling air intakes on the sides of the "bow", the necessary exhaust openings for the heated air are located on the sides of the fuselage in the space under the wing.

A two-piece wing with a proven "slide" profile is also extruded from EPO, the wings are reinforced with carbon, they are controlled by 2 pairs of servos mounted in the wing by means of short straight pushers. The wing halves are connected by two carbon tubing couplings; The locking screws on the underside of the wing prevent loosening of the wing halves in flight.

Preparation for flight of the model in the basic version only includes mounting the tail rudders (gluing with central instant glue), unfolding the half-wings and connecting the propulsion battery.

To control the model you will need at least a four-channel RC kit (if you are satisfied only with aileron and elevator control), but to take full advantage of the model's capabilities, it is advisable to use at least six - RC kit with a channel computer (in which case the aileron servos are connected via a Y-cable to one receiver channel) or even more preferably at least seven channels enabling all servos to be connected and set up separately.

To power the Bravus 2400, you will need an 11.1 V LiPo battery with a capacity of at least 2600 mAh.

The BRAVUS 2400 is designed for intermediate pilots - anyone who just wants to fly a nice thermal glider. The manual contains a detailed table with the recommended deviations of all rudders, thanks to which you will become familiar with the advanced settings of the glider with ailerons and flaps, you will learn about good flight modes that provide higher lift for thermal circulation. The engine power is sufficient for a stable climb at an angle of about 30-40 °, so "climbing" to a height sufficient to look for thermal chimneys will be very fast! The BRAVUS 2400 reacts sensitively to even weak thermal wear.
