HOBBYWING VOLTAGE REGULATOR 10A V2 UBEC CAR (HW30603003)

UBEC 10 A is a pulsed DC power stabilizer; powered by a 2-6S LiPo battery, it reduces the input voltage to a level suitable for powering RC model receivers and on-board electronics, and stabilizes the output voltage at a preset value (6.0 V, 7.4 V or 8.4 V). The load capacity of the UBEC is 10 A continuously, 15 A peak (momentary). Thanks to its IP67 waterproof dustproof housing, it is especially suitable for model off-road vehicles, but also ships, tanks, etc.

• It uses an advanced DC voltage-reducing converter circuit with current and thermal overload protection, operating at close to 90% efficiency.
• Small size and light weight make it easy to use and install.
• 3 output voltages (selectable via jumper switch) suitable for all types of receivers, servos as well as LED lights, winches, etc.
• LED indicator to indicate the operating status of the UBEC.
• Metal electronics shield and ferrite ring on output cable to suppress electromagnetic radiation.

Using the UBEC

Electric drive model with OPTO controller: Connect the UBEC directly to the outputs of the drive battery and connect the output connector of the UBEC to the battery jack (or other free servo jack) on the receiver.

Electric drive model with built-in power stabilizer (BEC): Before connecting the UBEC, disconnect the red (+) wire in the servo cable of the controller to disable the built-in BEC. Otherwise, the UBEC connection is the same as for the OPTO regulator.

Model with internal combustion engine or model without engine: Connect the UBEC directly to the outputs of the power battery and connect the output connector of the UBEC to the battery jack (or other free servo jack) on the receiver.

Note: To reduce possible interference, place the UBEC on the model at least 5 cm away from the receiver.
