DUALSKY VOLTAGE REGULATION VR PRO (LINEAR)

High-end linear regulator (BEC) dedicated especially to models with internal combustion engines weighing up to 8kg and with gasoline engines up to 50cc. This regulator will handle up to 6 digital servos each with a torque of 30kg. Instead of a standard switch, it has a fail safe and lightweight FSS-4 switch (fail safe switch, optional high quality FSS-3 switch can be used). The design of the controller using the FSS-4 switch, the solutions used, very good cooling in the form of a heat sink (with the possibility of installing an optional cooler - fan) ensure failure-free operation. Failure of the FSS-4 switch, voltage meter, output voltage switch do not cause the device to shut down. Failure of the output voltage switch results in a 5V output voltage setting.

This regulator connected to a power pack of 5.3-8.4V (maximum 10V) reduces and stabilizes the voltage at 5V, 6V or 7.4V (your choice), which can be used to power the receiver, servos, gyroscope, etc. when you do not have a BEC and do not want an additional 4.8V luv 6V pack, and when the BEC integrated (built-in) with the speed controller is too weak to handle the current of more servos and other components.

For internal combustion models, it can be used as a voltage reducer when using li-ion or li-pol 2S packs. The obvious advantage is the large capacity of such a pack and low weight (li-pol).

The VR PRO regulator is characterized by stable voltage level at the output, high current capacity up to 10A and no electromagnetic interference.

The rail of input and output ports in the plane of the regulator allows convenient routing of cables and reduction of the required space. The output section of the regulator is based on two MosFET power transistors. The regulator's MCU precisely controls the FSS-4 switch state and voltage. Low internal losses allow maximum utilization of the capacity of the power pack, especially in HV mode.

The VR Pro regulator has a built-in three-color power pack voltage meter.

The assembly on the regulator's board is made using SMT technology, the input and output ports are provided with high-quality tantalum capacitors and for 100% assurance of the quality of the goods, all regulators are thoroughly checked before leaving the factory.

The regulator has two current sockets on the left side to which the battery is connected (the manufacturer recommends using Dualsky 2S 20C packs) through a special adapter. two stabilized current outputs, a port for a fan (optional) and a switch port.
