Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) - traction control.
The traction control system is built into the 5-channel TQI 2.4GHz Traxxas Link TSM receiver. Combined with the low center of gravity and traction control system, Slash takes on completely new handling characteristics.
Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) allows you to make the most of the full power, speed and acceleration of Slash 4X4 . Traction control is particularly effective when driving on slippery surfaces, smooth concrete, ice and snow. The TSM system corrects the trajectory when accelerating to ensure the full use of propulsion. TSM also works when cornering, making corrections to maintain your chosen line of travel. This allows you to maintain higher speed in the turn and faster exit from it. During braking, TSM keeps track until it comes to a stop.
In the traction control system, Traxxas has used the latest algorithms that run invisibly in the background, never restricting the throttle. The TSM can be individually tuned or completely turned off depending on the current road surface and its condition as well as the driver's preferences. The control over the system is ensured by a multifunctional knob mounted in the transmitter. The usefulness of Traxxas Stability Managemen is best demonstrated by turning the system off after an extended period of use.

The Velineon ® 3500 is a brushless motor precisely matched to the 1:10 scale application providing the perfect balance of maximum power and efficiency. The VXL-3s electronic speed controller provides full control of smooth start and precise control, without the need for additional sensors and wiring.

Velineon VXL-3s, in addition to electronic speed control in both directions, offers additional functions that allow for a wide range of fun. The regulator features the " Training Mode . ™" function, which reduces the power of the drive unit by 50%. It is useful for novice drivers and for all those who want to practice precise driving technique. High frequency transistors and advanced circuit design result in extremely efficient and sophisticated throttle control. The VXL -3 s controller is flexible for the use of conventional brushed motors and brushless motors. The VXL -3 s has a sensor to detect the engine type. High current efficiency (320 A peak) and two-stage thermal protection allow the use of any motor.

Total Control.

The all-new Traxxas® TQi ™ radio system does all of this, plus it is reliable and solidly constructed. The most important novelty of this system is the possibility of cooperation with the Traxxas Link App , available on the iPhone or iPod touch system . This creates a powerful tool for tuning the model. The color display connects to the LinkTraxxas ™ system and creates an intuitive, high-resolution color graphical user interface that makes it possible to optimize the radio system for maximum vehicle control.

The transmitter is prepared to be equipped with the Traxxas Link Wireless Module ™ , which provides wireless connectivity with devices running on Android or AppleiOS 4.4+ 4.3+ . Module Traxxas Link ™ Wireless Module is not included and must be purchased separately. The catalog number of the module is 106511.

NiMh 4A fast charger.
Fast, convenient and trouble-free charging of the package is ensured by a fast DC12V DC charger with a charging current of 4A . The charger has been designed to shorten the charging time and extend the life of the model.
The NiMH 4A charger uses a constant voltage of 12 V available in universal sockets and has been optimized for charging Traxxas iD packages. The peak detection system ensures that the maximum package capacity is obtained after the end of the charging process. The LED flashes green during the charging process, and after it is finished it shines continuously.

Traxxas NiMh iD packages are optimized for use with the NiMh 4A charger, ensuring maximum use of available capacity. Traxxas took care of the highest quality of components and low internal resistance of individual cells of the package equipped with high-current electrical connectors

Ultra Efficient Shaft-Driven 4WD drive shaft .
The Slash 4X4 has a very efficient drive system. It rotates without resistance and play on ball bearings and is integrated into a unique chassis with a very low center of gravity (Low-CG). Very light - pressed aluminum drive shaft, transmits torque quickly and without losses, which can be seen in the exceptionally high acceleration of the car. The shaft runs in a perfectly straight line, is extremely stiff and durable.

Modular construction.
Old patterns of construction of 4-wheeled vehicles cause problems with maintenance and increase its time-consuming. Traxxas has a better way. The modular design of the Slash 4X4 allows you to detach the front with just 5 bolts and the rear with only four bolts. In less than a minute, using a screwdriver, you have full access to all the essentials for servicing or adjustments.

Traxxas' waterproof electronics technology allows you to be completely independent of the weather conditions. Previously, it was not possible to drive through water, mud, snow - now this is not a problem. Both the VXL-3s electronic speed controller, servos and the receiver have strong protection against external factors. It opens up a whole new world of adventure and fun.
