The Rustler VXL combines the power of the " Velineon®Extrem e" brushless drive with the proven durability of the design in practical use. The new brushless drive " Velineon Power System " takes the Rustler VXL to new heights of speed over 112 km / h.

Just plug in and use.

In this model, your choice of the type of drive packages determines the speed and skill level required. The Velineon drive accepts the widest range of drive package types including 3S LiPo battery packs. The Rustler VXL is factory equipped with the MiNh 8.4V package. After changing to LiPo 3S , the required skill level increases and the speed exceeds 112 km / h.

Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) - traction control.
The traction control system is built into the 5-channel TQI 2.4GHz Traxxas Link TSM receiver. Combined with the low center of gravity and traction control system, Slash takes on completely new handling characteristics.
Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) allows you to make the most of the full power, speed and acceleration of Slash 4X4 . Traction control is particularly effective when driving on slippery surfaces, smooth concrete, ice and snow. The TSM system corrects the trajectory when accelerating to ensure the full use of propulsion. TSM also works when cornering, making corrections to maintain your chosen line of travel. This allows you to maintain higher speed in the turn and faster exit from it. During braking, TSM keeps track until it comes to a stop.
In the traction control system, Traxxas has used the latest algorithms that run invisibly in the background, never restricting the throttle. The TSM can be individually tuned or completely turned off depending on the current road surface and its condition as well as the driver's preferences. The control over the system is ensured by a multifunctional knob mounted in the transmitter. The usefulness of Traxxas Stability Managemen can best be seen by turning the system off after an extended period of use.

Total Control.
Traxxas models deserve the most advanced - race-ready radio system. After all, this is the only connection between the driver and the machine. The system must be precise, comfortable and reliable. The all-new Traxxas ® TQi ™ radio system does all of this, plus it is both reliable and solidly built. The most important novelty of this system is the possibility of cooperation with the Traxxas Link App , available on the iPhone or iPod touch system . This creates a powerful tool for tuning the model. The color display connects to the Link Traxxas ™ system and creates an intuitive, high-definition - color graphical user interface that makes it possible to optimize the radio system for maximum vehicle control.

The transmitter is prepared to be equipped with the Traxxas Link Wireless Module ™ , which provides wireless connectivity with devices running on Android or AppleiOS 4.4+ 4.3+ . Traxxas Link Wireless Module ™ is not included and must be purchased separately.

Waterproof electronics allow the model to be used in difficult weather conditions. Water, mud and snow are no longer an obstacle to having fun outdoors.

The Velineon ® 3500 is a brushless motor precisely matched to the 1:10 scale application providing the perfect balance of maximum power and efficiency. The VXL-3s electronic speed controller provides full control of smooth start and precise control, without the need for additional sensors and wiring.

Velineon VXL-3s, in addition to electronic speed control in both directions, offers additional functions that allow for a wide range of fun.

The regulator features the " Training Mode. ™" function, which reduces the power of the drive unit by 50%. It is useful for novice drivers and for all those who want to practice precise driving technique. High frequency transistors and advanced circuit design result in extremely efficient and sophisticated throttle control. The VXL-3s controller is flexible for the use of conventional brushed motors and brushless motors. The VXL-3s has a sensor to detect the engine type. High current efficiency ( 320 A peak ) and two-stage thermal protection allow the use of any motor.

The Rustler VXL is designed to handle maximum power through the use of the Revo®-Spec Torque-Control ™ slip clutch, among other things. The patented design allows for a smooth, precise and consistent traction control system.
New to the Rustler VXL are high-quality wheel nuts and larger ball bearings in the wheels ( 5x11mm ). Power transmission is realized by means of new - hard steel wheels. With such high speed, the Rastler VXL is equipped with an all-new - Digital High Torque Waterproof Servo (# 2075) with lightning-fast steering response and confidence-inspiring precision.

NiMh packages with the iD system.

Traxxas NiMh iD packages are optimized for use with the NiMh 4A charger, ensuring maximum use of available capacity. Traxxas took care of the highest quality of components and low internal resistance of individual cells of the package provided with high -current electrical connectors.

NiMh 4A fast charger.

Fast, convenient and hassle-free charging of the package is provided by a fast DC12V DC charger with a charging current of 4A . The charger has been designed to shorten the charging time and extend the life of the model.
NiMH charger 4A uses a constant voltage of 12 V available in universal sockets and has been optimized for charging Traxxas iD packages . The peak detection system ensures that the maximum package capacity is obtained after the end of the charging process. The LED flashes green during the charging process, and after it is finished it shines continuously.

2.8 "Anaconda tires - option.
If tarmac is your favorite racing spot, you can transform your Rustler into an aggressive hard-surface car. This is made possible by wheels with a street tread. These sticky, high-grip tires are ideal for hard surfaces. The proven Anaconda tread design has incredible traction and high durability. The wheels have glued tires and are ready for immediate installation.
