Characteristics
The compact, small and lightweight Spektrum Serial Race SRXL2 micro receiver is suitable for even the smallest models. With two antennas, it offers excellent range and performance without interference. The receiver uses the SRXL2 protocol, which supports telemetry (telemetry data must be provided by the control unit, the receiver itself only provides information about the quality of the received signal). There is a button on the receiver board for easy pairing and LED indication.
The receiver is suitable for various control units in RC models, but also in industrial and robotics applications.
New Spektrum SRXL2 protocol
SRXL2 is a powerful communication protocol based on a UART serial interface with many features, which supports bidirectional communication between the radio system and the flight control unit. It supports telemetry and control unit parameter configuration (Forward Programming, VTX Setup a Text Gen Programming), one signal wire at a time. The SRXL2 protocol is not backward compatible with SRXL.
The SRXL2 protocol replaces the older SRXL protocol. SRXL2 is faster and more secure. Source code supporting SRXL2 communication is available to developers: www.srxl2.com
Small, lightweight and efficient
Weighing just 1.4 grams, the SPM4650 is smaller than any previous Spektrum Serial receiver. It is ready to be installed in most control unit models with minimal space requirements. The receiver comes without a connector for those who want to reduce weight. You simply need to solder the cables directly to the circuit board or solder the connector and connect the supplied cable from the SPM4650 to a compatible control unit.
Easy connection
You can embed the receiver with the supplied connector or directly solder the cables - it's up to you. With an operating voltage range of 3.3 to 8.4 volts, there is no limitation by the control unit's power supply.
Easy push-button pairing and SRXL2
For the easiest use possible, the receiver is equipped with a pairing button. The Spektrum Serial Race SRXL2 receiver can be put into pairing mode by pressing the button and connecting power or, of course, programmatically via the SRXL2 protocol.
