Characteristics:
The new Spektrum AR637T RC receiver is compatible with the Spektrum SMART system. The receiver has an integrated barometric sensor, so it can function as a vario and altimeter. The SRXL2 port can use an additional SRXL2 SPM9747 receiver.
Intelligent Spektrum™ Smart technology offers a higher degree of connection to the model's electronics than ever before. It's all about the RC system, which will provide complete control over individual electronics components and at the same time facilitate the use of important model components. The model's electronics will communicate with the user, who can ensure the highest possible performance and efficiency of the model.
The Spektrum AR637T receiver has a SMART Throttle connector, which can send telemetry data like voltage and current from the Smart controller to the receiver. The receiver is compatible with a number of Spektrum Avian regulators. For SMART Throttle to work, the Smart regulator must be connected to the SMART Throttle connector and paired with the SMART Throttle telemetry receiver and Spektrum DSMX transmitter with telemetry. The Spektrum AR637T has integrated AS3X and SAFE functions. These can be set directly from the Spektrum transmitter in the corresponding menu. The transmitter must be G2 compatible and have an update done to the latest firmware version.
Electronic AS3X stabilization and SAFE function
With the integrated AS3X technology, anyone can set and program SAFE technology for their model. AS3X (3-axis stabilization) technology works in the background to mitigate the effects of turbulence in flight, so that a greater sense of stability and precision can be used, making the pilot feel like he or she is flying a much larger, professionally tuned aircraft. SAFE technology, however, offers a further and higher level of protection, so that RC flying can become simpler than ever before. If SAFE is activated, pitch limitation occurs, meaning that the model cannot be tilted in a turn any more than the electronics allow. In addition, electronic stabilization is present, which will level the model for level flight when the transmitter sticks are released to neutral. AS3X and SAFE programming and setup is done directly from the Spektrum* transmitter. For SAFE and AS3X technology to work with the AR637T receiver, the receiver must be set up with a compatible Spektrum transmitter.
