Kit Contents:

  • RC receiverSpektrumAR8360T
  • cable for measuring external voltage

Characteristic:
RC receiverSpektrumAR8360T with telemetry is compatible with the systemSpektrumNSMART. The advantage is the built-in AS3X stabilization, which corrects the effects of wind and turbulence with the help of a 3-axis MEMS gyroscope and exclusive software and SAFE function, which provides position control in flight. The receiver has an integrated barometric sensor that measures altitude and vario. Possibility to connect an additional receiver SRXL2 orSpektrumSerial SRXL2 receiver with telemetry.

8-channel receiverSpektrum™ AR8360T is a DSM2® and DSMX® capable receiver in a compact size suitable for a wide range of aircraft models. It is equipped with full-range telemetry, an integrated barometric sensor, XBUS and temperature ports that can be used to add further telemetry sensors available separately.

Attention*:TransmittersSpektrumDX7S and DX8 Gen 1 will not display altitude telemetry and variometer with the AR8360T receiver.

SAFE® (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope)
The SAFE system prevents over-slope in turns and also reduces climb and descent. By simply releasing the transmitter sticks, the model will return to horizontal flight. These functions will be especially appreciated by novice pilots who are not fully confident in controlling the model. In the transmitter menuSpektrumG2, iX and NX is the FORWARD PROGRAMMING menu from which you can set the AS3X and SAFE functions.

Two antennas and compact size
RC models of airplanes with a significant part of the carbon fiber structure can create a shielding effect and reduce the range. ReceiverSpektrumThe AR8360T is designed to overcome the range problems in aircraft made of these materials in that it has two independent external antennas to ensure safe signal reception. One antenna is 155mm long and the other 186mm long. They can be easily installed inside the hull. Installation is also easy in narrow hulls thanks to the compact dimensions and the longitudinally positioned connectors.

Compatibility with the systemSpektrumSmart
The Spetrum AR8360T is prepared for use with S regulatorsMART Avian. The receiver output no.1 (THRO - gas) automatically detects the connection of the S regulatorMART.

If an S controller is connectedMART, the receiver automatically reads from the controller (and possibly from the connected battery S.MART) available telemetry data. Otherwise, the standard servo signal will be output and a standard controller or servos can be connected.

Adjustable Fail-Safe
The RC AR8360T receiver supports 2 types of Fail-Safe systems

  • Preset Failsafe: During a signal loss, the channels will go to a predefined deflection (deflection during pairing). This type is used in gliders.
  • SmartSafe + Hold Last: will move the gas channel to the predefined position (low gas) which was set at the time of evaporation. All other channels hold the last two positions. As soon as the receiver detects a signal from the transmitter, the control function will resume. This Fail-Safe type is recommended for use with other (aerobatic) models.

The Fail-Safe type can be set in individual channels using the computer with the applicationSpektrumProgrammer + SPMA3065 cable or via programmable transmitters in the Forward Programming menu. By default, the gas channel is set to Preset and the other channels are set to Last Hold. The pitch for the Preset type is set during pairing or via the Forward Programming menu.

Full range telemetry
The telemetry transmission power is 100mW EIRP, which ensures full telemetry coverage. The receiver has an XBUS port for connecting other telemetry sensors and a connector for measuring external voltage. The receiver has an integrated barometric sensor, so the receiver measures altitude and vario. See the Recommended Accessories for a list of available sensors. There is no temperature sensor available for this receiver.

Easy pairing at the touch of a button
No pairing connector needed anymore! For pairing, just press the button with the logoSpektrumon the top of the receiver. The activation of pairing can be performed both when turning on the power, and by pressing the button after turning on the power. This is convenient where the simultaneous pressing of the button and connecting the power is impossible.

The possibility of pairing the receiver using the pairing connector connected to the Bind / Prog / SRXL output is still preserved.

Stabilization of AS3X® (3-AXIS STABILIZATION):
ReceiverSpektrumis equipped with AS3X technology which helps to stabilize the model in flight. The receiver contains a three-axis gyro MEMS and an accelerometer and thanks to electronic stabilization it is easier to control the model, e.g. in windy weather. The model reacts similarly to a much larger model and its flight is smooth, while maintaining full controllability. AS3X gives you more control confidence.

Forward Programming:
The AR8360T receiver can be set up wirelessly, directly from a compatible transmitterSpektrum™ using the Forward Programming menu. You do not need any other device such as a computer or mobile device to set up and modify.

SAFE technology:
Thanks to the SAFE Select technology used, aircraft models can also be controlled by less experienced pilots. The SAFE system prevents over-slope in turns and also reduces climb and descent. By simply releasing the transmitter sticks, the model will return to horizontal flight. These functions will be especially appreciated by novice pilots who are not yet fully confident in controlling the models.

Panic function:
In case of loss of orientation, you can use the Panic protection button, which will return the model to horizontal flight. Then you can go back to model control.

Telemetry S.MART:
A complete solution for telemetry data transmission to a compatible transmitter is provided by the AR8360T receiver with the Avian regulator and the S battery.MART. Important telemetry parameters such as current, voltage, temperature and RPM are sent straight to the transmitter in real time.

Integrated barometric sensor:
ReceiverSpektrum™ AR8360T is equipped with an integrated barometer (with pressure sensor) that provides altitude and vario data and transmits them to telemetry, without the need to purchase additional sensors.
