A miniature servo tester for setting the neutral position of up to 4 servos simultaneously and testing the operation of servos or functions of electronic speed controllers manually or automatically with a control pulse width display on a three-digit LED display. The LED servo tester generates a control signal with 50 Hz repetition rate pulses (20 ms alternating) with a logic level "1" of 3.3 V and has three basic push-button switchable modes:
Manual servo position adjustment using a knob (control pulse width range 700-2,300 µs).
Neutral position setting - control pulse width of 1,500 µs (1.5 ms).
Automatic testing of servo movement (control pulse width range 800-2 200 µs).
To power the servo tester, you need a NiMH/NiCd battery with 4-5 cells or a UBEC power conditioner (5-6 V). When testing speed controllers with a BEC, no additional power supply is required; for controllers without a BEC ("Opto"), an external power source must be connected to the servo tester as for servo testing.
