OLFA PRECISION SCALPEL (AK-5)

AK-5 knife from the Japanese company Olfa for precise cutting of paper, foil, cardboard - modification of the AK-3 scalpel. Handle extended to 14 cm / 2 cm more /, ending in the form of a convenient spatula, useful e.g. for pressing or shaping small elements. Square knife holder, preventing the knife from rolling off the table. The shape also allows a secure connection to the new blade holder - in two ways. The first is to insert the holder into the guide along the side of the container, convenient for storing the knife together with spare blades. The second way is to insert the holder perpendicularly to the container, thanks to which it becomes a comfortable stand.

The metal clamp allows the blade to be firmly immobilized in the holder and easy to replace. The KB-5 blades with a particularly sharp tip allow for precise cutting of details. 30 spare blades in a new container / stand with a needle, 20 mm long and 1.6 mm in diameter, useful for various types of modeling work
