The classic Redox BL 500/1000 outrunner is a "mild-mannered" engine that gives the modeler the good torque needed to fly training or reduction models, while offering a very moderate energy appetite - which translates into a very long time to keep the model in the air. Offering about 500 g. of static thrust, the unit with 1000 kV will be ideal for reduction models, trainers, upper-wing and lower-wing models with larger wing area (weighing as much as 1.0 kg), guaranteeing long and stable flights, with a relatively large torque reserve.
In addition, the engine has the ability to translate the shaft to the other side of the body thus obtaining the option of "inverted mounting" - this can prove particularly helpful in models with limited ability to mount the frame for engine installation at the front of the model, or it can prove ideal for push-pull models.
