The classic Redox BL 400/1200 outrunner is the slower of the two available "400 "units in our range. Offering about 135W of power and about 390 g. of static thrust, the unit is characterized by medium-high RPM (1200 kV) and very versatile application - so it will be, among other things, ideal for aerobatic models weighing up to about 550-600 g., providing excellent opportunities to perform most aerobatics. It will also be perfect for other trainer-type models or low-wing planes, where the pilot would like to keep an adequate reserve of power both for performing slightly faster flights and for a quick exit from tight evolutions.
In addition, the engine has the ability to translate the shaft to the other side of the body thus obtaining a "reverse mount" option - this can prove especially helpful on models with limited ability to mount the frame for engine installation at the front of the model, or it can prove ideal for push-pull models.
