PowerBox Evolution (No. 4230)

12-1486
The PowerBox Evolution is a small, solid power system, perfect as the first PowerBox device. The range of applications ranges from warbird models, 3D aerobatics to jets. The first Evolution series was launched on the market as early as 2004 and has been continuously developed and improved ever since. For example, the current version provides remote access to six channels. The efficiency of the regulators has also been significantly increased by redesigning the entire base plate. The output voltage can be configured to either 5.9V or 7.4V, making the PowerBox Evolution a great choice for standard 6.0V servos. In both cases, the constant output voltage ensures that the servos run continuously. The device is turned on using the SensorSwitch, which is included in the set. The procedure is simple: pressing the SET button prepares the switching process, then a short press of buttons I and II activates the two power circuits. This effectively eliminates the risk of accidental power off. SensorSwitch is also used to set the battery type. This information is essential for an integral voltage indicator. Two rows of LEDs indicate the charge status of the batteries in four stages. The memory of the minimum voltage that occurs during flight is also remembered, allowing the pilot to monitor the batteries more accurately. After the flight, the minimum value can be read from the LEDs using buttons I and II. The PowerBox Evolution is equipped with an integral signal amplifier to ensure sufficient signal strength for the servos. This is perfect when using long extension cords. The device is also equipped with a system that suppresses servo reverse currents that may occur.
