OLFA SCRAPER (GSR-1/3B)

Glass scraper with stainless steel blade.

The handle and the 120mm wide stainless steel blade guard made of glass fiber reinforced polypropylene resin provide increased strength and resistance to acetone. Together with the stainless steel plate fixing the blade, they form a handle of 7mm thickness /with a fixing screw - 14mm/. Grooving on the yellow surface of the handle and the black blade guard help you find a secure and comfortable way to hold the tool. The scraper is very light, weighing only 115 grams.

When the black blade guard is removed, it can be slid to the other side of the handle, increasing its thickness (14mm) and comfort. The guard can be moved to the left or right to perfectly match the scraping conditions. Special tabs inside the blade guard help the guard stay in the selected position. Holes on the sides of the handle allow you to attach a lanyard or cord to prevent the tool from falling - important when working at height.

No tools are needed to replace the blade. To replace the blade, loosen the screw /just 1 turn/, slide down the metal plate and remove the blade wedged between the plastic tabs of the handle.

The tool is designed for work related to the preparation of exhibition and window panes for application of window films, protective films, anti-burglary films, sunscreen and tinting films, removal of old film from windows and shop windows.

The large hole in the handle and the curved shape of the sides allow you to choose the most comfortable way to hold the scraper - depending on the direction, the necessary pressure and the precision of scraping.
