KAVAN STANDARD LAKE 250 ml (9989A)

Clear nitro varnish for protecting metal parts and tightening covering papers on small models. For application by brush, roller or spray. Less shrinkage and weight than with nitrocellone varnish.

Directions for use. Apply 2-4 coats; always let the varnish dry for at least 24 hours and sand with fine-grained 600-1000 grit sandpaper. If using on a model with an internal combustion engine, use a fuel-resistant topcoat (e.g., KAV56.9990 KAVAN POLY opaque varnish, 5MA4401 RC Color clear spray varnish).

Remove excess undried paint: rag or paper towel moistened with KAVAN STANDARD paint thinner.

Not suitable for: materials not resistant to organic solvents (polystyrene, etc.).

Storage: in a tightly closed container, in a cool, dry and dark place (at 15°C to 25°C). Do not expose to temperatures below 5°C and under no circumstances to frost.

Use in well-ventilated areas, use protective clothing (especially respiratory masks, etc...)

Shelf life: Under proper storage conditions, we guarantee shelf life in original, unopened packaging for up to 1 year while maintaining the above-mentioned product properties.
