The Grunau Baby glider was designed and built in 1931 by Edmund Schneider in Grunau (today's Jeżów Sudecki). It was a very simple wooden structure, also built by aviation enthusiasts using the cottage industry. The glider was versatile, it was used for flying lessons, training, high performance flights and performing basic acrobatic figures. More than 5000 copies were built and to this day you can admire this magnificent structure in our sky. Every 2 years, rallies of these amazing gliders, the legends of aviation, are organized in Jeżów Sudecki. Therefore, we are proud that the model we offer was also created in Jeżów Sudecki.
