The knife allows you to adjust the depth of cut by changing the tension of the spring that presses the blade against the material being cut. This pressure can be infinitely adjusted with a slider on the back of the handle. The TS-1 knife should be held in the same way as a pen or pen. When guiding the knife in a smooth motion along the cutting line, it should be pressed lightly against the ground all the time, so that there is no gap between the knife and the sheet of paper to be cut. When cutting materials of different thicknesses, it is necessary to calibrate the spring tension each time by making several test cuts of a particular material. The blade of the TS-1 knife is a specially prepared blade for this tool with the symbol TSB-1.

NOTE

OLFA blades are extremely sharp. Take extra care when cutting and replacing the blade. Used blades can also be dangerous - before throwing them away, protect them using, for example, the containers in which new blades are delivered, or use special containers DC-2 and DC-4. Store OLFA knives and blades in places inaccessible to children !
