KAVAN LAKIER Top Coat POLY 250 ml (9990A)

Gloss polyurethane topcoat for wood, opaque papers and canvases resistant to glow engine fuels and gasoline. Remains flexible and provides high resistance to weathering and mechanical damage (bumps, scratches, etc.). For application by brush or roller, suitable for model aircraft and ships.

APPLICATION: If necessary, thin the paint with KAVAN POLY Thinner, apply with a soft flat brush or roller. Usually one coat is sufficient, the surface dries after 1-2 hours, always let the coating dry for at least 24 hours.

Removal of excess undried varnish: Cloth or paper napkin moistened with KAVAN POLY thinner.

Diluting the varnish: The varnish is supplied in concentrated form, depending on your needs and application method, you can dilute KAVAN POLY Thinner in any proportion to obtain the optimal consistency for application. At higher dilution, it may be necessary to apply several coats to ensure reliable substrate protection.

Suitable for: top coat of glossy lacquered opaque papers and canvases, impregnation of wooden parts of model airplanes and ships against moisture. POLY topcoat can be safely applied to a substrate covered with STANDARD, COLOR and CLASSIC KAVAN varnishes, the last coat of which was applied no earlier than 24 hours ago.

If the substrate is painted with other paint materials, we strongly recommend testing compatibility with POLY topcoat in advance outside the model.

Not suitable for: materials not resistant to organic solvents (polystyrene, etc.).

Mixing the lacquer: The lacquer cannot be mixed with other colors or lacquers. For thinning, use only KAVAN POLY thinner - due to its different composition, it is not possible to use KAVAN CLASSIC or STANDARD series thinners.

Use in well-ventilated areas, use protective clothing (especially respiratory masks, etc...)

Storage: In a tightly closed container, in a cool, dry and dark place (at 15°C to 25°C). Do not expose to temperatures below 5°C and under no circumstances to frost. Keep away from children.

Shelf life: Under proper storage conditions, we guarantee shelf life in original, unopened packaging for 1 year while maintaining the above-mentioned product properties.
