VectoPor is an excellent polypropylene-based material for ultralight, extremely durable flying models - indoor and park planes, Shock Flyers and many others. VectoPor boards are almost indestructible and extremely resistant to cracking and tearing. VectoPor can be glued with ordinary contact and instant (cyanoacrylate) adhesives and is very easy to shape.
Features:
- Extremely strong and durable
- Flexible
- Finely porous
- Tear-resistant
- Plates from 1 to 2 mm are ideal for mini indoor models up to about 30 g
- Plates from 2 to 5 mm are ideal for indoor models up to about 200 g
- Plates from 5 to 8 mm are ideal for indoor models and park flyers weighing up to about 500 g
Processing:
- Cutting: sharp knife, peeling saw, shaving saw, cutter, laser cutter, hot wire cutter
- Suitable adhesives: UHU Por®, instant adhesives (cyanoacrylate), hot melt glue
- Suitable colors: Acrylic paints and markers, wax crayons
- Forming: Permanent bending with a heat gun, vacuum forming
- Suitable for digital printing
