Strong and very fast programmable digital low-profile servo with AC (brushless) motor with titanium gears and output shaft mounted on two ball bearings for use mainly in F3A aerobatic models, RC jets, hotliners and 3D helicopters in sizes 400-500. To ensure perfect cooling even under heavy load, the servo is placed in an aluminum housing.
Using the programmer / USB interface for GO servos and the operating program on the PC, you can program a whole range of servo parameters (deflection size, neutral deflection sense, overload protection, soft start, etc.)
Programmable Functions:
- Deflection size: It is used to set the maximum deflection size of the servo. The default setting is approx. 120 ° at the normal pulse width range (900 ~ 2100 µs); approx. 180 ° with the maximum allowable control pulse width range (500 ~ 2500 µs).
- Servo neutral: Sets the servo neutral (center) position.
- Damping: Sets the behavior of the servo when it stops moving.
- Power Output: Sets the servo output power. The higher the value, the faster the servo and the thrust it has - of course, the power consumption will be proportionally higher. Range: 39.2 ~ 100%
- Sensitivity: Sets the sensitivity (dead zone width) of the servo. The higher the value, the narrower the deadband - the servo only moves when the control signal width variation is greater than the deadband width. A sensitivity value that is set too high may cause servo jitter in some applications. Range: Ultra High (Very high - dead zone approx. 1 µs) - High (High - approx. 2 µs) - Medium (Medium - approx. 3 µs) - Low (Low - approx. 4 µs)
- Soft Start: Enables / disables the soft start function. This function prevents the servo from suddenly moving into the working position after turning on the power and thus reduces the risk of damaging its gear.
- Reverse Swing Direction: Reverses the swing direction of the servo.
- FUTABA SR mode: Only for use with FUTABA RC kit channels in SR mode. Do not enable this option if you are using a different FUTABA RC kit configuration or a different brand RC kit.
- SANWA SSR Mode: Only for servo use with SANWA RC kit channels operating in SSR mode. Do not enable this option if you are using a different SANWA RC kit or a different brand RC kit.
- Fail-safe: In case of complete loss of the control signal from the receiver, or if the servo cannot detect the signal correctly (e.g. due to interference), the servo can go into one of three fail-safe modes:
(a) Free: Fail-safe is turned off.
(b) Position hold: the servo holds the position corresponding to the last signal correctly received.
(c) Go to neutral: The servo returns to the neutral position (1500 µs pulse width). - Overload Protection: Enables or disables the servo overload protection on three levels - when the overload lasts for the set time (in seconds), the servo output power is limited to the corresponding set value (in% of maximum power).
- Reset: Restores the connected servo to factory defaults.
