USB interface - KAVAN GO-10xx series programmer. By using a computer monitor as the user interface, you get a programming and testing tool with convenient operation. During programming, the servo is powered from the USB port of the computer to which the programmer is connected. All parameters are first set in a window on the screen and then sent to the servo. The tool can be found in the "Downloads" section.

System requirements for using the programmer:

  • Power supply: USB (5V / 500mA)
  • Operating system: Windows® XP / Vista / 7/8/10 (32 / 64bit)
  • USB port: USB 2.0
  • Compatible servos: KAVAN GO-10xx series

A wide range of servo parameters can be programmed using a USB programmer / GO servo interface and a PC tool.

Programmable Functions:

  • Deflection Size: Sets the maximum deflection size of the servo. The default setting is about 120 ° at the normal pulse width range (900 ~ 2100 µs); approx. 180 ° with the maximum allowable range of control pulse widths (500 ~ 2500 µs)
  • Servo Neutral: Sets the servo neutral (center) position
  • Damping: Sets the behavior of the servo when stopping motion
  • Power Output: Sets the servo output power. The higher the value, the faster the servo and the greater the thrust - of course, the power consumption will be proportionally higher. Range: 39.2 ~ 100%
  • Sensitivity: Sets the sensitivity (bandwidth) of the servo. The higher the value, the narrower the deadband - the servo only moves when the control signal width variation is greater than the deadband width. Too high a sensitivity value can cause servo jitter in some applications. Range: Very high (Very high - dead zone approx. 1 µs) - High (High - approx. 2 µs) - Medium (medium - approx. 3 µs) - Low (Low - approx. 4 µs)
  • Soft Start: Enables / disables the soft start function. This function prevents the servo from suddenly shifting to the working position after turning on the power, thus reducing the risk of damaging its gear
  • Swing Inversion: Reverses the swing of the servo
  • FUTABA SR mode: Only for use with FUTABA RC kit channels operating in SR mode. Do not turn this option on if you are using a different setting on a FUTABA RC kit or a third-party RC kit
  • SANWA SSR mode: For servo use only with SANWA RC kit channels operating in SSR mode. Do not enable this option if you are using a different SANWA RC Kit or a third-party RC kit setting
  • Fail-safe deviations: In the event of a complete loss of the control signal from the receiver or the servo signal cannot detect correctly (e.g. in the event of a fault), the servo can switch to one of three failure modes:

(a) Free: Fail-safe is turned off.
(b) Hold position: the servo holds the position of the last correctly received signal.
(c) Neutral transition: The servo returns to the neutral position (1500 µs pulse width)

  • Overload Protection: Enables or disables the servo overload protection on three levels - as soon as the overload lasts for a preset time (in seconds), the servo output power is limited to the corresponding set value (in% of maximum power)
  • Reset: Resets the connected servo to the factory default settings
