Original JAPAN AIR opaque paper has very long fibers due to which it has high tear resistance.

"On water" wrapping method:
Paint the wooden parts twice with pore filler. Coat the wood where it meets the paper with Glutofix 600 or fixing varnish. Trim the paper with a slight allowance, glue and stretch so that there are no wrinkles. After drying, spray the paper lightly with water, after the paper will tighten again, then paint with clear or colored varnish to protect the surface from the weather.
Note: while drying, stiffen the wing, stabilizer or fuselage so that it does not curl.
