OLFA EXCHANGEABLE SHARPS 18 mm (LFB-5)

A new variation of the ExcelBlack blade, whose cutting edge - subjected to two-stage honing - is further enhanced with a coating of fluorinated polymer. The low friction of the polymer coating on the edge of the blade results in reduced force required to cut through the material, a smooth cut and long retention of the exceptional initial cutting ability. This type of technology is used in the manufacture of shaving knives, among others.

SPEED BLADE generates 50% less cutting resistance when cutting cardboard. In practice, this means that this blade cuts cardboard 2 times faster than the LBB blade ! The name "SPEED BLADE" is stamped with a laser on each blade so that it will not be confused with LBB blades.

Fits all OLFA handles for 18mm blades. OLFA recommends the LFB blade for a wide range of applications - both professional and those encountered by every user of segmented knives. In warehouses, factories and workshops where knife sharpness is badly needed when opening or cutting cardboard boxes, SPEED BLADE blades will prove their high efficiency.

NOTE

OLFA blades are extremely sharp. Take extra care when cutting and replacing blades. Used blades can also be dangerous - before throwing them away, protect them using, for example, the containers in which new blades are delivered, or use special containers DC-2 and DC-4. Keep knives and blades out of the reach of children !
