Programmable water-cooled microprocessor controller for AC motors without sensors ("brushless, sensorless") constructed using the capabilities of state-of-the-art semiconductor technology with excellent performance characteristics while maintaining very simple and user-friendly operation. It is used to control the speed of AC electric motors in model ships (mainly motor boats) powered by NiCd/NiMH and Li-Poly/Li-ion batteries. The waterproof housing and water cooling make installation and use very easy. It features a switchable SBEC power stabilizer to provide power to the receiver and servos from the drive battery. Programming of the controller is done using the Hobbywing LED transmitter or programming card (sold separately).

CONTROLLER DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTIONS

• The immunity of the SEAKING V3 series controllers meets the IP67 standard, which means that the controller can operate in water and the user can use it directly, without any preliminary work. (Note: Dry all connectors thoroughly after use to prevent oxidation of their metal parts)
• The patented "Copper Bar Heat Conduction" heat exchange technology, water cooling system and MOSFET power transistors with extremely low internal resistance increase the reliability of the controllers and their resistance to overload.
• Brand new software developed specifically for RC boats with excellent starting and acceleration characteristics. It also has excellent resistance to sudden load changes caused by surfacing and submerging while driving.
• Fits most sensorless boat AC motors powered by 2-6S LiPo/Li-ion or 5-18 Art NiCd/NiMH.

PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTIONS

• Operation mode: One-way - for power boats and racing. Two-way mode also allows reversing and is suitable for models and recreational/sports driving.
• LiPo cell count: You can choose to automatically detect the number of cells or set it manually for 100% reliable voltage protection function.
• Voltage drop protection: If the drive battery voltage drops below the set threshold value for 2 seconds, the motor power will be reduced to 50%. You can select "no protection" mode or values of 2.8, 3.0, 3.2 or 3.4 V/cell.
• Time: adjustable 0.00°, 3.75°, 7.50°, 11.25°, 15.00°, 18.75°, 22.50°, 26.25°
• Set the most appropriate value according to the engine you are using. The correct timing value ensures smooth engine operation. In general, a higher timing value will provide higher peak power, but the engine's performance will decrease and its operating temperature will increase.

REGULATOR PROTECTION FUNCTIONS

• Power supply voltage drop protection: If the drive's battery voltage drops below the set threshold value for 2 seconds, motor power will be reduced to 50%.
• Regulator thermal protection: If the temperature of the regulator exceeds the factory-set value, the regulator will limit the motor power to 50%. Full power will be restored when the controller temperature drops below 80°C.
• Throttle signal loss: The controller will shut down the engine if there is no throttle control signal from the receiver for 0.1 s. When a normal signal is received, the controller returns to normal operation.
