Programmable microprocessor speed controller with water cooling for AC motors without sensors ("brushless, sensorless") designed using the possibilities of the latest semiconductor technology with excellent performance properties while maintaining a very simple and friendly operation. It is used to control the speed of AC electric motors in ship models (especially motor boats) powered by NiCd / NiMH and Li-poly / Li-ion batteries. Waterproof housing and water cooling make installation and use much easier. It is equipped with a BEC linear power stabilizer that supplies power to the receiver and servos from the drive battery. The controller is programmed using the Hobbywing LED transmitter or programming card (sold separately).

DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTIONS OF THE CONTROLLER:

  • Patented "Copper Bar Heat Conduction" technology, water cooling system and MOSFET power transistors with extremely low internal resistance increase the reliability of the drivers and their resistance to overloads.
  • Brand new software specially developed for RC boats with excellent starting and acceleration properties. In addition, it has excellent resistance to sudden load changes caused by ascent and submersion while swimming.
  • It is suitable for most water sensorless AC motors powered by 2-3S LiPo / Li-ion batteries or 5-10 NiCd / NiMH cells.
  • For power supply from NiCd, NiMH, Li-poly, Li-ion, Li-Fe batteries
  • Linear power stabilizer BEC with a load capacity of up to 2 A.
  • Two operating modes: one-way and two-way for different applications - motor boats and scale models.

PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTIONS:

  • Operating Mode: Uni-directional - for speedboats and racing. The two-way mode also allows you to reverse and is suitable for scale models and recreational / sport swimming.
  • LiPo cell count: You can choose to automatically detect cell count or set the cell count manually to ensure 100% reliable voltage protection.
  • Supply voltage drop protection: If the drive battery voltage drops below the set threshold for 2 seconds, the engine power will be reduced to 50%. You can choose the "unprotected" mode or values of 2.8, 3.0, 3.2 or 3.4 V / piece.
  • Timing: Adjustable 0.00 °, 3.75 °, 7.50 °, 11.25 °, 15.00 °, 18.75 °, 22.50 °, 26.25 °
  • Set the most appropriate value depending on the motor used. Correct timing value ensures smooth engine operation. In general, a higher clock speed will give a higher maximum power, but the efficiency of the engine will decrease and its operating temperature will increase.

PROTECTIVE FUNCTIONS OF THE REGULATOR:

  • Supply voltage drop protection: If the drive battery voltage drops below the set threshold for 2 seconds, the engine power will be reduced to 50%.
  • Thermal protection of the controller: If the controller temperature exceeds the factory-set value, the controller will limit the motor power to 50%. Full power will be restored when the controller temperature drops below 80 ° C.
