Hitec D-Series Servos
Hitec D-series digital servos combine the ultra-fast response, accuracy and high resolution of 4096 steps of the HS-8xxx series of servos with the programming capabilities of the HS-7xxx series of servos. In fact, they far surpass existing servos with their 32-bit processor and 12-bit ADC. In addition, they have a "Wide Voltage" function that allows the use of battery power over a wide range of nominal voltages from 4.8 to 7.4 V.

32-bit MCU/12-bit ADC
Hitec's new 32-bit MCU combined with a 12-bit ADC that converts the signal from the feedback potentiometer provides the best response ever achieved among RC model servos. You can also use the DPC-11 universal PC interface (applicable to all Hitec programmable servos) to tune D-series servos for maximum performance (deviation magnitude, resolution, reliability, soft start, etc.) in a wide range of applications .

Widevoltage
Hitec's "Widevoltage" technology supports all types of receiver batteries with a nominal voltage of 4.8-7.4V. This means that you can directly power servos, for example, servos. from a four-cell to six-cell NiMH or NiCd battery, a two-cell LiFe, LiPo or Li-ion battery - of course, you need to remember that the thrust and speed of the servo depends on the size of the supply voltage.

25-tooth spline output shaft
The output shaft of the D-series servos is equipped with a 25-tooth spline as standard (this allows, among other things, more accurate adjustment of the lever perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the servo), and new levers with a matching spline are used (not compatible with older Hitec servos).

Soft start
Soft start protects the servo and rudder control mechanism when the on-board electronics are activated - when activated, the servo slowly moves to the neutral position - no sudden jerks.

Intelligent
New control algorithm that prevents the servo from self-oscillating when the servo's dead zone is "sharply" set, saving gears and reducing power consumption.

Programmable functions
Using the new DPC-11 programmer/USB interface, you can set a range of D-Series servo parameters to perfectly adapt the servo to your application. D-Series servos feature consistently high resolution; using the "deviation magnitude (EPA)" function, you can set the servo's swing range up to 180° (with a control signal of 0.9-2.1 ms pulse width). Programmable values are:

  • reset to factory settings
  • width of the insensitivity zone (adjustable in 10 steps) &gt
  • sense of rotation
  • rotation speed
  • neutral
  • soft start
  • amount of deflection (up to 180°)
  • enable or disable the fail-safe function
  • safe emergency deflection setting
  • overload protection (power limitation 0-50% in case of overload)

Waterproof (WP)
the servos are waterproof and dustproof (meets IP67 standard). This makes them suitable for use in harsher environments in RC cars, boats and other models where servos are exposed to water, moisture and weather conditions.

Very strong, waterproof and dustproof servo with steel gears and output shaft mounted on two ball bearings. Particularly suitable for 1:8 and 1:10 RC off-road vehicles, including trucks and rock vehicles, watercraft, model ships and similar applications with high requirements for tensile strength and long-term resistance to adverse environmental and environmental influences.

Waterproof and dustproof housing (resistant according to the international protection code IP-67 - completely prevents contact with dust, withstands immersion in water to a depth of 1 m for 30 minutes in test mode) with a metal center section for excellent cooling even at high load temperatures.

With its increased power supply voltage (up to 7.4V, 2s LiPo/LiFe), it allows very simple implementation of on-board electronics (with suitable 2.4GHz receivers) when powered by a dual Li-Poly or Li-Fe cell without the need for additional stabilizers or regulators.
