Nine-channel 2.4 GHz receiver with integrated 3-axis gyro, variometer and dual omnidirectional antennas.

With the Hawk 18 receiver, Graupner presents a powerful 9-channel receiver with an integrated 3-axis gyro and a particularly vibration-resistant 3-axis acceleration sensor, differential antennas, vario mode and positioning mode for fixed-wing aircraft or rescue mode and positioning mode for helicopters.

With GRAUPNER HoTT 2.4 GHz technology, the receiver has a secure high-frequency telemetry transmission section. The receiver transmits parameters such as: "receiver voltage", "receiver temperature", "signal strength", "altitude" and "altitude difference (vario)" to the transmitter without additional sensors. It is also possible to send Euler angles to the transmitter and display them there.

Combined with a variety of antennas, the antenna amplifier provides a huge range. A faster 32-bit L4 processor guarantees energy-efficient operation, and the higher performance means that the Hawk 18 can also be used as an unmanned system for helicopters and as a flight controller for helicopters. The Hawk's integrated gyro system can, of course, be put to excellent use in fixed-wing models. There are 4 different gyro modes: OFF, normal stabilization, course lock, speed mode and position mode. When set correctly, the gyro speed mode allows sharp knife-edge and twister flight without control correction. Extremely fast, easy and convenient configuration via the Hott transmitter telemetry menu.

Aircraft models:

  • Stabilize the model in difficult windy conditions in up to 3 axes
  • Natural flight behavior
  • The three-axis gyroscope makes even difficult-to-control aerobatic models fly very smoothly and makes stunts extremely easy
  • In-flight maneuvers can be performed much more cleanly
  • 4 different gyroscope modes: OFF, normal stabilization, course lock, yaw mode for particularly easy knife-edge flight and simple turning, and attitude mode
  • Simple gyro assignment setting
  • Parameter setting with HoTT telemetry
  • Attitude mode software allows easy landing even in difficult wind conditions
  • 5 free mixers
  • SUMD output for connection to flybarless systems, flight controllers or power supplies
  • SUMDIN input for redundant receiver operation.

Flybarless system for helicopters:

  • Rescue mode and approach mode for helicopters
  • Basic configuration is done in minutes using HoTT telemetry
  • Fast and innovative axis assignment for flexible mounting direction
  • Special latest-generation vibration-resistant 3-axis sensors
Control disc pirouette optimization and tail moment direction compensation are detected automatically
  • All popular helicopter servo control discs 90/120/135/140 degrees and 90 degrees 4
  • Adjustable rotation of the wing plate up to 90 degrees for multi-tail heads
  • Clear standard menu and optional expert menu if required
  • Sensitivity parameters can also be set during flight, adjusting speed and style according to the phase of flight using the encoder
  • Super-fast thanks to the elimination of transfer time from the receiver to the flybarless system
  • Very direct sense of control

Programming for helicopters:

  • Simple programming of basic settings via telemetry
  • The pirouette optimization is determined automatically based on parameters and works very well
  • Extreme flight stability with full 3D capabilities even with basic settings
  • Tail and wing effects can be easily adjusted using the telemetry menu or optional encoders
  • Additional optimization options in expert mode for personal flying style and personal requirements
  • Extremely simple adjustment of basic settings via telemetry:
