Futaba RC four-channel computer control set using the 2.4GHz T-FHSS SR transmission system with super-fast response for competition and advanced recreational car and boat models. The transmitter can also be switched to transmission modes with T-FHSS telemetry or without S-FHSS telemetry, and thus uses a range of T-FHSS and S-FHSS receivers for RC cars and boats. With the included R334SBS T-FHSS SR/T-FHSS receiver, you have 4 PWM channels for classic servos and the ability to transmit telemetry from sensors connected to the S.BUS2 socket. It also allows you to connect the FS-RM005 transmitter module to control Kyosho Mini-Z Evo models.

The T4PM plus transmitter, in a classic steering wheel design with a handle that fits perfectly in the hand, is equipped with steering wheel controls, an accelerator handle, two push-button switches, one knob and five digital overlays (3 around the steering wheel, 2 on the handle). Three buttons and a multifunction joystick are used for programming; easy orientation in the intuitive menu is provided by a large backlit LCD display. The T4PM has memory for 40 models and a wide range of advanced programming features for regular and special car models - e.g. independent control and drive (2 controllers) of front and rear wheels for tracks, dual-circuit brakes for large 1:5 models, gyroscope for drifting, ABS, traction control, tank compound, etc.

To run the transmitter, you will need 3 AA alkaline batteries or rechargeable NiMH batteries stored in the holder supplied with the transmitter, or a 4-5-cell NiMH or 2S LiFe battery.

T-FHSS SR transmission system

The super-fast transmission system (servo signal period of 2.45ms or repetition rate of 408Hz) allows the use of only special Futaba SR digital servos with extremely fast response on channels selected in the transmitter for which SR mode is enabled. On other channels where SR mode is not enabled, it is possible to use ordinary digital servos and speed controllers. Analog servos MUST NOT be used. It does not allow telemetry data transmission.

T-FHSS transmission system: Normal/high speed mode

This transmission system allows transmission of telemetry data from sensors connected to the S.BUS2 socket on the receiver. "Normal" mode allows the use of any servos (analog and digital) or RC devices, given that the repetition period of servo signals is 15 ms (repetition rate of 66.7 Hz). Only digital servos and most other devices, such as speed controllers for AC motors, can be used in "High Speed" mode. The repetition period of servo signals is 3.3 ms (repetition rate of 303 Hz). NOTE: The transmitter is not compatible with T-FHSS Air system receivers for flying models.

S-FHSS transmission system: normal/high speed mode

"Normal" mode allows the use of any servos or RC devices, given that the repetition period of servo signals is 13.6 ms (repetition rate of 73.5 Hz). The "High Speed" mode can only be used by digital servos, including the BLS series and most other devices such as speed controllers for AC motors. The repetition period of servo signals is 6.8 ms (repetition rate of 147 Hz).
