Characteristic

The highest-class 18-channel Futaba 18SZ RC apparatus in mode 2 for advanced as well as ordinary aviation modelers. FASSTest, FASST, T-FHSS and S-FHSS modulation, color touchscreen, rich software for RC models of airplanes, gliders, RC helicopters and drones / multicopters. The transmitter has a voice output for telemetry data to the headphones and an integrated telemetry. The set includes a LiFe 6.6 V 2100mAh battery that gives up to 8 hours of operation.

The outstanding thing is that the Futaba 18SZ transmitter is compatible with all Futaba air modulations, ie FASSTest, FASST, T-FHSS and S-FHSS. So you can use any Futaba aviation receiver for your models. If 100% reliability is required, FASSTest modulation should be used. Cheaper receivers with T-FHSS or S-FHSS modulation can be used for cheaper models for everyday flying.

It goes without saying that the transmitter is of the highest quality and is very rich in software for all RC models. The menu is very intuitive - similar to the Futaba 18MZ transmitter. Many controls allow you to control the various functions of the RC model exactly according to your habits and ideas.

Properties:
  • The Futaba 18SZ RC apparatus is compatible with all Futaba air modulations - FASSTest, FASST, T-FHSS and S-FHSS
  • Programming functions for RC models of airplanes, RC models of gliders, RC helicopters and RC multicopters / drones
  • 11 cm (4.3 inch) color touchscreen LCD
  • 8 fully programmable flight phases
  • Integrated telemetry (for T-FHSS and FASSTest modulation), sensors can measure temperature, rotation, altitude, distance, GPS speed, voltage, current, vario and much more. The obvious thing is the ability to save data.
  • The internal memory for 30 models can be "unlimited" expanded via an SD card
  • Powered by a reliable 6.6V LiFe battery with a capacity of 2100 mA. The working time is 7 - 8 hours.
  • Voice output of telemetry data to headphones (currently in English)
  • Possibility to update the transmitter firmware by the user via an SD card
  • Two side sliders, six digital trimmers, 8 switches. Everything freely assigned.
  • Precision rods in ball bearings
  • Possibility to connect with a student-teacher cable, programming of servos, sensors and S.BUS and S.BUS2 decoders
