PowerBox PBS-Vario (6625)

The PBS -Vario is based on the latest generation MEMS pressure sensor and is capable of accurately measuring height differences of up to 10 cm. A digital filter developed in-house by PowerBox-Systems ensures that the measured values are completely free of noise and distortion; both features are important requirements if the vario function is to work accurately. In addition to the climb rate in m/s, the PBS-Vario measures relative altitude (from the starting point) with a resolution of 0.1 m, as well as the temperature at the sensor.
The PBS -Vario is extremely compact - measuring just 33 x 10 x 4 mm - allowing it to find a place in even the smallest gliders.
The PBS -Vario can be used with the PowerBox ATOM/CORE , Jeti EXBUS, Multiplex M-Link and Futaba S.BUS2.
