Telemetry sensor - altimeter / barometric variometer for Futaba RC models with telemetry transmission systems FASSTest, T-FHSS Air (for aircraft). Allows measurement of the relative altitude of the model in the range of -700 m to +5500 m relative to the starting point with a resolution of up to 0.1 m, and the climb/descent speed of the model in the range of -150 m/s to +150 m/s. Ideal for measuring the altitude of gliders and motor gliders and signaling their ascent/descent. The sensor's operating states are indicated by an LED.
- Compatible receivers: Futaba receivers with S.BUS2 port
- Connection to the receiver: socket S.BUS2
- Number of addresses required by the sensor: 3*
- Default address number setting (starting address): 3*
- Transmitted telemetry data: relative altitude (relative to the reference point - the place where the sensor is switched on), climbing / descending speed
- Typical installation: In the fuselage of the model, where the sensor is not directly exposed to the airflow, but in a space that is not completely enclosed so that changes in atmospheric pressure can take effect
- Power supply: 3.7-7.4 V (rated battery voltage)
- The sensor kit includes: sensor SBS-02A with cable, instructions.
*) Telemetry sensors are identified on the S.BUS2 serial bus by an address number ("slot"); more complex sensors transmitting more than one data may require several consecutive addresses, in which case the first address belonging to that sensor is called the starting address.
Technical data:
- Power supply: 3.5-8.4 V
- Measured altitude range: from -700m to +5500m
- Measured ascent/descent range: -150 m/s to +150 m/s
- Altitude resolution: 0.1m (for older transmitters 1m)
- Length (with cables): 175 mm
- Weight: 2.6 g
*Follow the included instruction manual.
