Telemetric magnetic speed sensor for Futaba RC models with FASSTest, T-FHSS Air (for aircraft) and T-FHSS Surface (for cars) telemetry transmission systems. Allows measurement of the rotation of the object to which the magnet(s), whose movement the sensor detects, is attached, in the range of 360 to 100,000 rpm. Ideal for measuring the speed of aircraft, helicopter, car and boat engines and similar applications. The distance between the sensor and the magnet must be less than 2 mm. The operating states of the sensor are indicated by an LED.
- Compatible receivers: Futaba receivers with S.BUS2 port
- Connection to the receiver: socket S.BUS2
- Number of addresses required by the sensor: 1*
- Default address number setting (starting address): 2*
- Transmitted telemetry data: number of revolutions (counts with one active - fixed with the polarity of the trigger sensor - magnet, when using two active magnets, it is necessary to make the appropriate settings in the transmitter menu)
- Typical installation: near the fan of a helicopter internal combustion engine, on which 2 magnets are symmetrically attached (the second magnet is used for proper balancing, it is usually attached with opposite polarity, so the sensor does not respond to it)
- Power supply 3.7-7.4 V (rated battery voltage)
- The sensor kit includes: sensor SBS-01RM with wires, magnetic sensor with bracket, 2 magnets, 2 mounting screws and nuts, instructions.
*) Telemetry sensors are identified on the S.BUS2 serial bus by an address number ("slot"); more complex sensors transmitting more than one data may require several consecutive addresses, in which case the first address belonging to that sensor is called the starting address.
Technical data:
- Power supply: 3.5-8.4 V
- Measured speed range: 360-100000 rpm
- Length (with cables): 255 mm
- Weight: 4.7 gr
*Follow the instructions included with the product.
