FUTABA USB INTERFACE CIU-3

CIU-3 is a USB interface for communication between Futaba devices supporting Link configuration (such as S.BUS/S.BUS2 servos, gyros and Futaba controllers) or firmware updates via a Windows PC (Vista/7/8/8.1/10). It comes in the form of a standard USB flash drive with a status LED indicator.

After downloading and installing the Link utility (downloadable for free from Futaba's website), the CIU-3 connects to a free USB 2.0 port on your computer (depending on your operating system version, you may need to install a USB driver). It is powered from the USB port; the configured/updated device is connected via a PC-Link cable adapter. The connected device uses its own internal power source (e.g., the T6K transmitter) or, for example, the battery of the receiver connected to the PC-Link adapter (S.BUS/S.BUS2 servos).

The operating program provides convenient configuration or update in a clear "Windows" style.
