Small DC wattmeter up to 6500W with 0-180A current, 0-60V voltage, 0-65Ah electrical charge and 0-6500Wh real-time energy measurement and memory of maximum current, voltage and power/power values.
The 180A wattmeter can measure:
- DC voltage in real time 0-60V with minimum voltage value memory
- DC current in real time 0-180 A with memory of maximum current value
- Real-time power/power 0-6554 W with memory of maximum power/power value
- Amount of electrical charge transferred 0-65 Ah
- Amount of transferred electrical energy 0-6554 Wh
- Time
The wattmeter is an indispensable instrument when checking drive systems and optimizing them.
- It can prevent overcurrent from damaging batteries, electric motors and speed controllers and help you choose the optimal propeller size or gear ratio according to the motor and controller used
- Allows you to check the load of power supplies, set safe voltage
- Allows you to check the capacity of batteries and their carrying capacity
- Allows you to check the actual consumption of the receiver and servo to decide whether you need to use batteries or a UBEC power stabilizer with a higher load.
Using a wattmeter
The power source (such as a drive battery) is connected to the input leads of the wattmeter. The receiver/load (e.g., a speed controller with a motor) is connected to the output cables of the wattmeter. If the voltage of the measured source is lower than 4.8 V, power must be provided to the wattmeter electronics by connecting a 4.8-6.0 V source to the socket on the left (e.g., NiMH 4.8 V receiver battery).
The instantaneous current (A) and instantaneous voltage (V) are displayed on the first line of the display. Instantaneous power/power (W), measurement time, minimum voltage (Vm), charging time (Ah), maximum current (Ap), maximum power/power (Wp ) are displayed cyclically with a period of 2 s on the second line on the right side ) and electrical energy (Wh). The measurement period is 0.4 s.
Technical data:
- Working range of input voltage: 4.8-60.0 V (can be measured from 0.0 V when supplied by an additional source)
- Working range of voltage measurement: 4.8-60.0 V, resolution of 0.01 V / 0.0-60.0 V, resolution of 0.01 V (when powered by an additional source)
- Working range of current measurement: 0-180 A, resolution 0.01 A
- Working range of measured power: 0-6554 W, resolution 0.1 W
- Working range of measured charge (capacity): 0-65 Ah, resolution 0.001 Ah
- Working range of measured electrical energy: 0-6554 Wh, resolution 0.1 Wh
- Measurement repetition period: 0.4 sec
- Dimensions: 85x43x25 mm
- Weight: 82 g
