A model in the STOL (Short Take Off and Landing) category, which allows takeoff and landing in a very small space. Thanks to its large control surfaces, it is capable of performing 3D aerobatics and is an almost unlimited source of flying pleasure. In addition, thanks to its upper-airplane design, the aircraft is suitable for less experienced pilots, provided that the amount of yaw is properly limited.

The fuselage of the model is made of negative-molded EPP foam. Space for the propulsion battery and receiver is located under the removable cabin.

The two-piece wing with a semi-symmetrical profile connected by a carbon tube is also made of EPP foam. The ailerons and slotted flaps are controlled by short straight rods with two pairs of servos mounted in the wing.

The landing gear is two-wheeled and equipped with high-profile tires that provide very good cushioning during landings and takeoffs on rough terrain. The pinwheel is controlled by a rudder servo.

All servos are digital with metal gears, with 19g (ailerons and flaps) and 25g (rudder and altitude). The installed motor is a 5015/550kV outrunner motor with a Hobbywing 80A speed controller and a 5V/8A UBEC. A 15x7" wooden propeller is included.

You will need at least a six-channel RC kit to control the model - if both aileron servos are connected to one receiver channel. If you want to maintain independent control of both ailerons, you will need at least a seven-channel RC kit.

As a power battery, you will need a six-cell 22.2V LiPo battery, 3000-4000 mAh and a charging capacity of at least 30 C. The cable for the controller on this model is equipped with an XT90 connector (#KAV36.145).

Technical specifications:

  • span: 1830 mm
  • length: 1330 mm
  • wing area: 43.2 dm2
  • weight: about 2700 g

The ARF kit includes: an EPP foam fuselage with a motor, ESC controller and Vop and Sop servos installed, an EPP wing with aileron and flap servos installed, an EPP tailplane, a wing coupler, a 15-inch wooden propeller, a set of screws and instructions.

To launch the model you will need:

  • rC apparatus - min. 6 CH
