The name "Cub" has a long tradition at MULTIPLEX in the area of Elapor, or lightweight foam aircraft models.
It started with the PicoCub launched in 2000, which at the time was still made of polystyrene foam and was conceptually designed as a basic model. This was followed by such successful models as EasyCub, FunCub and FUNCUB XL.
Now comes the "FunCUB NG" NG, which stands for "Next Generation" and that's exactly what it is! The flight characteristics and handling can be improved again. The FunCub NG is extremely good-natured, impresses with its light weight, is still very maneuverable and can also be used for towing and aerobatics. Even "knife-edge" flight and torque is possible; the standard-mounted ROXXY (RR) engine provides sufficient power reserves. The FunCub NG is ideal for beginner training and delights young and old alike.

A new feature is that the wings are stiffened. The model also flies without strakes, but for aerobatics it is recommended to install them. Thanks to its large wheels and new chassis, the Funcub can take off and land on almost any terrain without worry. The internal fuselage structure has been completely redesigned, so the engine is now installed by mounting on the rear wall.
