The new Funcub XL ND (NEW DESIGN) is a further development of our versatile and popular Funcub XL (multifunctional towing aerobatic upper plane).
Our goal was to reduce weight and give it a fresh new look. We introduced weight savings by redesigning the landing gear and new EPP wheels, saving about 200g in weight. This makes it possible to achieve an even lower flight speed and a better thrust-to-weight ratio. The tuning landing gear (#1-02061) can also be fitted to the existing Funcub Xl.
It also improves your unique short takeoff and landing characteristics. As a result, it can be used in almost any terrain.
Like its predecessor, the new Funcub XL ND also has many beautiful details, such as very elegant LED covers for optional lighting with POWER-MULTIlight (# 73030) - a real eye-catcher. It also comes standard with a tow hook (requiring an additional HS-225 servo for activation) and a large parachute, for which a matching parachute is also available (# 852004).
Why is the FunCub XL so popular? It flies extremely precisely and maturely! We've given it large rudder flaps, decent power and very balanced flight characteristics, making vertical ascents, knife-edge flight stunts and even spins possible! Thanks to the reduced weight of the XL ND, flight performance has been increased again. The FunCub XL features extravagant design solutions and sets completely new standards in its class. Extremely solid fuselage thanks to "M-Frame technology", stable and lightweight carbon tubes (CFRP) in the wings, staggered landing flaps and very simple and fast expansion of the model - thanks to struts with quick-release couplers.
