E-flite Apprentice STS 1.5m RC model aircraft with installed components included: E-flite BL15 840obr/V three-phase motor, E-flite 30A Smart three-phase regulator, 4 pcs E-flite Standard 37g servo, 2 pcs E-flite Micro 13g Digital servo, Spektrum control unit: Apprentice STS, Spektrum Serial Micro SRXL2 DSMX receiver with connector. Also included is Spektrum DXs DSMX transmitter.

Characteristics
New electronics in the proven Apprentice model is ideal for learning to fly, new capabilities with SAFE and AS3X functions, DXS transmitter. You can also have SAFE+ functions ( AutoLand and Virtual Fence) with optional GPS module and landing sensor (not included). Only the drive battery with charger needs to be replenished.
The basic version of the kit includes a complete model, which has flight modes with SAFE in-flight attitude protection. If it is to additionally have a takeoff and landing assistant and a virtual fence, you can buy a GPS module with a landing sensor (LAS) and get the SAFE Plus function, which allows you to have a flight assistant that can automatically land - AutoLand, return to the takeoff point - Holding Pattern, and a virtual fence with a limitation of the model's distance from the takeoff point - Virtual Fence.
The E-flite® Apprentice® STS 1.5m is built on one of the best platforms ever designed for learning to fly remote-controlled models - the proven Apprentice S 15e. The model is designed for beginners and less experienced pilots. It is made of strong and very durable Z-Foam material. The model is characterized by a smooth flight thanks to the wing with a semi-symmetrical profile, the flight is thus relatively slow and very stable. The wide 3-wheel landing gear has a steerable front shin, so takeoff and landing are very easy. The RC apparatus is in the 2.4GHz band with DSMX modulation, the proven Spektrum DXe transmitter will ensure a secure connection.
The model will enable the pilot to continue developing his piloting skills. With the right design and powerful engine, you can start learning basic aerobatic figures. The Apprentice STS can perform loops, barrels, flips and flight on its back. Of course, you can turn off the SAFE flight attitude protection and have complete freedom of control. You can also install optional floats and be able to take off and land on water.
