This ready-made, elegant electric powered sailplane will be perfect for both thermal flights and dynamic flights on the slope. As if that were not enough, it has excellent aerobatic qualities. All this is possible thanks to the optimal aerodynamics and a well-thought-out hybrid construction in which carbon composites, steel, aluminum, plastics and special ELAPOR® foams are used.

FUNRAY is characterized by a well-thought-out design that eliminates the current disadvantages of using foams as the basic material. Optimally selected elements stiffening the entire structure make the airframe maintain its geometry, and thus it is much more precise in flight. The designers took care of high ergonomics of operation by using quick connectors for the assembly of wings, horizontal stabilizer, cabin and electrical connections. In addition, all these connections are mechanically precise, repeatable and reliable in operation.

To power the drive unit, Multiplex recommends a LiPo 3S battery with a capacity of 3200mAh and current efficiency of 30C.
