VA-MODELS WAMPIRE II (red)

The Wampire was the oldest school glider ever produced by VA-Models until 2008. There was a revival in 2019, when we redesigned the model based on the interest of one of our foreign partners, changed the model to a push-powered glider, and in 2023 further innovations were introduced. The model, named WAMPIRE II, is now available and completes our family of EPP models. The Wampire II is sure to appeal to both beginner pilots, for whom it is designed, as well as pilots looking for a quiet model for leisure or a glider with a smaller span + of course, also to pilots looking for a model that, even without taking off the wings, can be "put" in a mid-range car and at any time where they want to relax with this addictive "animal" that practically flies itself !

The Vampire II was designed with completely beginner pilots in mind, so its structure was designed to withstand even less "delicate" landings. However, thanks to the ailerons and when set to higher deflections, the model is superbly maneuverable and the school model becomes a decent playmate, performing all the basic stunts such as looping, corkscrewing, flying on its back, and even propeller hovering and much more.

The model is made of EPP material and has controls for all functions (altitude and direction rudder, ailerons and engine). Thanks to the selected self-stabilizing profile and ears with lift, the model will get out of most dangerous situations without much interference. An additional advantage of the model is, of course, its weight. The ratio of span, minimum wing loading and 1/2 kg of weight is a condition for very good flight excellence.

The aircraft is equipped with a minimalist, tasteful design, in which the upper and lower sides of the model are well distinguished. Thanks to its range and color scheme, the model is therefore highly visible even at higher altitudes. The fuselage structure of the model consists of three parts, which are properly relieved and at the same time reinforced, gluing together with the assembly of the elements does not take more than 10 minutes.

The wings are attached to the fuselage with a lock and a safety bolt. All components and batteries are placed inside the fuselage, we thought of everything while constructing the model. Everything is so beautifully hidden that nothing stands out anywhere and does not interfere with the integrity of the model. At the same time, the material protects the electronics in the event of an impact / fall, as well as from the cold during winter flights.

The configuration is standard, 8-13 g micro servo, 120-170 W motor, 12-18 A speed controller, 750-1250 mAh LiPol 2-3S battery. The design is very simple, almost indestructible, and thanks to the locks and clever design, even a complete novice can handle the assembly.

You will need at least a four-channel transmitter, but we recommend a standard 6-channel one, which allows independent control and adjustment of aileron servos, pivot adjustment, etc.
