GLIDER ALPHA 1500V2 - ARF BLUE KAVAN (KAV02.8075)

A new model of Kavan's Alpha 1500 V2 motor glider, made of EPO foam relatively resistant to impact and damage.

Although externally it retains the features of the original Alpha 1500, the ALPHA 1500 V2 is a completely new model with different dimensions, a new wing profile and a much more sophisticated design. New molds and advances in foam molding technology ensure that all parts are much more precisely made. The two-piece wing and the tail tailplane are now attached to the fuselage with screws, making the model very compact. A more powerful motor with a 30A regulator and a 3S LiPo battery instead of the original two-cell one provides enough power not only for normal motor glider flying, but also for aerobatics. So the ALPHA 1500 V2 will "grow" with you and your flying skills.

The ALPHA 1500V2 is an elegant motor glider with a large lifting surface with controllable ailerons, altitude and direction rudder driven by a powerful AC motor. The sturdy - yet very lightweight - construction made of EPO foam guarantees excellent resistance to damage in case of an accident, or at least very easy repair in case of damage. The motor is powered by a lightweight, high-capacity LiPo battery, and the model is controlled by an eight-channel 2.4GHz FHSS RC kit for high noise immunity. We simply made sure that your path to success is wide open and your first steps are not complicated by "material nature" worries.

The fuselage with the C2217-1200 engine, KAVAN R-30B controller and servos for the rudder and elevator is extruded from EPO foam. The cabin cover is removable with magnetic closure. The two-piece wing is also extruded from EPO, the ailerons are controlled by 2 servos mounted in the wing with short straight rods. The wing halves are connected by a link made of 4 mm steel wire, secured by a plastic connection plate and attached to the fuselage by a pair of screws. The tail surfaces in the classical arrangement are extruded from EPO, and are controlled by bowdens. They are attached to the fuselage by a pair of screws. An 8.5x6" folding propeller with a plastic cap. Cooling of the engine, regulator and battery is supported by additional cooling air intakes on the sides of the "bow".

The model is suitable for beginners as well as intermediate RC pilots.
