CYJANOACRYL Glues 20g / gel in a tube / BSI

CA IC-Gel™ CA - a cyanoacrylate adhesive from the American company bSi BOB SMITH INDUSTRIES.

It has the same bonding properties and curing time as MAXI-CURE™. However, IC-GEL™ can be applied to a vertical surface and will stay in place. It will not run off. This can be very convenient for some assembly applications. It can be very difficult to apply CA to the underside of a horizontal surface, such as a ceiling, using anything other than a full standard bottle of CA. IC-GEL™ can be applied at any angle by simply squeezing the tube. However, the gel tends to continue to flow out of the tube for about a second after you release pressure, so take this into account to apply the exact amount of IC-GEL™ you need.

IC-GEL™ is an excellent putty for plastic models. It will fill any void and can be molded into many shapes. Using the INSTA-SET™ allows you to sand or saw IC-GEL™ to its final shape in less than 20 seconds. Body mechanics have done their jobs in a fraction of the time using IC-GEL™, plus it has an advantage over regular body putty, namely better bonding to metal surfaces.
